New Baby

We are proud to announce that on
October 15, 2010 at 11:22pm
Ezekiel Daniel Aceves
was born into our family!
He was 8lbs 11oz and 21 3/4in. long

Isabella loves "her" new baby! We have to make sure that she doesn't smother him with love.
She sings to him, and reads to him often.

He is a pretty happy guy and is already smiling and laughing!

It has been a lot of work but we are LOVING having a baby in house. He is really sweet and getting strong so he can protect himself from his big sister.

First Birthday!

We made it through the first year and through the first birthday party! (Many thanks to our friends and family who helped to make it happen.)

One thing we were very excited about was that on her first birthday we could turn her car seat around. Now we can see her and hand her things during a drive...that makes things much easier!

We invaded Uncle Kenny, Auntie Jen and cousins Van's home on her birthday and celebrated together. Her first birthday cup cakes:

Of course she opened a few gifts, which she loved!

We are so blessed to have her in our lives! She keeps us on our toes and she's learning so many things. We're looking forward to turning her car seat around and she's looking forward to a cupcake tonight (she just doesn't know it yet)!

10 Months

10 months down only 2 to go until Isabella's one year old!

We can't believe that Isabella is 10 months already. This past month she really started crawling forward. Prior to this she would scoot forward, crawl backward and roll everywhere! Now she sees what she wants and goes for it. Which is keeping us very busy. She officially tried dog food (twice) has been pulling up to a stand on her own and said banana! We know food is her main motivation (fitting since she is part of the BFF) so it is no surprise to us that her first word had to do with food!

Right now she is working hard to fight off a cold, a few sleepless nights but she seems to be on the mend.

On our way up to Grandma's and Grandpa's I got my first french fry! It was from In-N-Out and I LOVED it!

Making some new friends...I think I was more excited about the picture than they were. We did have tons of fun playing together before the picture!

We had a great trip up North! Isabella was a trooper in the car and made the whole journey back in one day. That was 9 1/2 hours of driving. We loved getting to see friends and family and for everyone to meet Isabella. We are so thankful for the safe journey and find everyone in good health. What an amazing year it has been for the Aceves family...we have been so truly blessed. God has provided for us in amazing ways and brought us the best gift ever, our daughter, family and great friends. Thank you all for your love prayers and support. We can't wait to see you all in the new year!
