Teething!

Grammy Beth got Isabella some teething biscuits...she's getting 5 teeth at once! It hasn't been too bad I am so lucky. Well to help those teeth, and to let her have some fun we gave her one and let her loose! This is how it started, clean and happy....

Dedication and First Hotel

Last Sunday we had Isabella dedicated at our church! It was a great day, and a reminder that she is a gift from God; entrusted to us. She did really well no crying, she did like looking at Pastor Brad and the microphone!

Cousin Van came to watch!

This weekend a friend I grew up with from Nor. California got married in L.A.! ( Yeah Judy) Friends came in from out of town so it was a fun day of catching up. Isabella also had her first hotel stay in Anaheim.

Isabella's many Aunties keep her in fashion! Thank you all for the many gifts. This day one such Auntie got her a BIG beautiful headband! The bride was the only girl who out shined Isabella, of course I am bias when I say that.

Today

This picture doesn't do this story justice...I was on the computer and Isabella was on her blanket behind me. She was cooing and talking and having a great time and I was trying to get some new pictures up on the computer! She sounded happy so she was fine, right? Well she was fine, and really happy with my black leather flip flop in her mouth chomping away! Needless to say I was mortified! What horrible mother would allow their child to chew on a dirty flip flop...she had black on her face and her shirt, not to mention the dog hair. Hopefully her overabundance of saliva kept all of the worst germs out! I'm sure it won't be the last thing she'll get into.

Isabella is rolling over now and over and over...it's fun because now she can roll to get her toys. However, as the above story illustrates, it now means that she also gets whatever else might be on the floor as well! Time to baby proof the home I guess. (Or just put our shoes away when we take them off!) :)

Nap Time

On Sunday I went into the bedroom to talk on the phone and when I came out this is what I found; nap time!

5 months

This is Danny at 5 months! Isabella and her daddy look so much alike, my two sweethearts.

Isabella is 5 months and starting on her rice cereal and bananas! She is also working on a tooth, her bottom right to be exact. Right now she is 27.5 inches long and almost 18 pounds.

These are some of Danny's outfits from when he was a baby! The blue sailor one is the one he came home from the hospital in. We put Isabella in them and had a photo shoot.

4 months old!

Isabella is 4 months, well almost 5 months! Here are some things she's been working on this past month:

1. Rolling over (almost there)

3. Talking more
4. Putting everything in her mouth
5. Eating her first solid foods
6. Growing: Isabella is now 27in. long!
7. Meeting cousin Van on my 4 month b-day

I got to see cousin Van today! He is SOOO cute. Jen is doing well and looks great. I got to change a diaper already; I'm such a lucky Auntie!! He's making cute noises, and is super strong lifting his head up a little already. He has LOT'S of hair and is very alert. We love you Van!

The past few weeks.

Our Super Exciting Life!

With life being so busy, we haven't had time to furminate our pups lately. We love the furminator, it keeps the hair down in the house and makes a huge difference. Danny decided enough was enough and took on the task the other day. It usually doesn't take as long or produce as much hair but it's been a few months since Buttercup's had it done.

This is the final pile if you compare the two it's amazing how much hair we won't be cleaning off the floor!! I also can't believe how much hair the dog has to shed.

Well as the title promised our super exciting life...and we're sharing it with you! (How lucky are you?)

Bath Time!

We are very fortunate the Isabella likes her baths! In fact, she likes them so much she doesn't like to get out. I guess we are pretty lucky because I've been reading on baby center and lot's of moms say that their babies don't like them and it's hard when they are fussy. So we are blessed. Maybe she'll be a great swimmer? Who knows?

She likes kicking her feet and having water dribble down her face. I hope that this trend is a life-long love affair with bathing. :)

Weekend of Firsts!

This was a weekend for firsts for Isabella! We went on our first hike as a family, she's been on many walks but not hikes. She rode with her Dad in the the sling, she's already big enough for a backpack.

Isabella got a cool seat from her Auntie Mary called the Bumbo seat. Well Isabella holds her head up enough now to use it! She looks like she's on a thrown. She likes being a big girl.

After that long day she got a bath, and went right to bed! (Well sort of!!!)
