Seven Months!!

Here we are at 7 months! We've made it so far only a few more months left.

Here I am at 7 months...my belly keeps growing. I feel Gwizzie everyday now. She is moving a lot and more often now. We have another ultra sound on Friday and hopefully we'll have some new pictures of her early next week!

I'm feeling pretty good, just sore back and heartburn...the normal pregnancy stuff! Danny's the one who has it hard I'm sure! We are so excited about Gwizzies and can't wait until she gets here. Thanks for all your love and prayers.

New Floors!

I left for Northern California to go to a baby shower before Thanksgiving. While I was gone some elves came to house and fixed my old wood floors. They sanded, sealed and varnished and now they look amazing! Here are some pic's:

Totally Gross & Totally cute!

Warning!! Do NOT eat while reading this post!!

I'll start with the gross so we can end with the cute stuff!

This isn't the gross picture, it's just to let you know that she's doing fine other than her toe!

Here it is, after a long battle she's lost her toe nail due to her accident a few weeks ago. Luckily dogs are like humans in that it will grow back just fine.

There are two things that are gross about it:
1. Obviously it looks gross and it looks worse from the front but I thought I'd save you all from that view!
2. She lost the nail this morning while I was at work...that means I'm not sure where it is! Did she eat it? (Gross) Is it on the the floor somewhere waiting for and un-socked foot to find it? (Really gross!) We may never know the answer.

So just be praying that now she's lost the nail the toe will heal up. If not, we will have some more decisions to make.

Okay now the cute stuff!

Uncle Kenny and Auntie Jen were SO awesome and decorated their house for Gwizzie last Thurs. Only we didn't know and we totally flaked on them! However I have read their blog and I believe that our not being there led to some good ol'fashioned home shooting!

This week when we went over they had spared two balloons:

Isn't it cute!? We love it! Attached to it was a really cute piggy bank for Gwizzie.

See now it just keeps getting cuter!

...and cuter! Thanks to Uncle Kenny and Auntie Jen, we love you guys!

One more cute thing before I go. This is the first shirt we picked out for our baby girl! We loved the owl and the thermal underneath!

Ahhhh...owls they are everywhere! ;)

So from really gross to super cute. Something for everyone that's what you'll find here!

Baby SPOILER alert!!!!

Now you know what we're having!! A little girl sometime late Feb. early March. Our little girl was somewhat stubborn she had her legs crossed and would not uncross them. I rolled from side to side, got up walked and pushed on my tummy and she would not uncross. But she finally rolled her whole body so we could see from underneath. At least she's a lady!

Update!

Buttercup is doing much better. The paw that was in the window is still swollen but not as much as it has been. She is hobbling much better and even putting a little pressure on her "window paw"! :) Thanks everyone hope your fall is going well and much cooler than it has been down here!

Crazy Night!

On Monday we came home and found Buttercup had knocked the box fan out of the front window and had not gotten down quick enough because her paw was stuck in the window. We are not sure how long she was stuck but her paw looked pretty smashed and both her front paws were really swollen. We called a few vets and decided to take her in. After a few x-rays, a morphine drip, and 3+ hours at a very cold vets office we took our pups home. She couldn't stand at all let alone walk. Nothing is broken however she may have a few fractures, they can't tell for sure until the swelling goes down. Her blood flow is good both above and below where her wrist was crushed which was a real concern because they thought that the blood veins might be too damaged...if so that would have meant surgery, which we couldn't do.
However this is day two and she's hobbling around on three paws, so we call her tri-pod. (Real original I know!) She seems to be getting better slowly and hopefully she won't be needing to go to the vet for a long time!
You can't tell how bad it is in this pic, but her front paws are about the size of a 70 pound dog instead of her usual 25 pound size! She was drinking water and started to fall asleep in the dish. It must have been all the drugs she was on.

First Baby Pictures!

This is the first picture of our baby taken at 6 weeks one day! Just a little line with a heartbeat. It was really amazing! This is our alien baby at 10 weeks 3 days (August 8th)!! She/He was moving around a TON and has cute little "fists of furry". I call them that because the baby was moving its' fists, I'm sure that will feel great on my ribs in the near future! :)

Well we will let you know on October 17th (hopefully our child cooperates)! Keep voting we love you all!

We're Having a Kid!

So in case you HAVEN'T heard we are due to have a baby March 3rd 2009! I am about 4 months along and have passed the sickness phase for the most part. I am feeling good and just starting to show. However poor Danny has to put up with my "emotional" state of being! He says I'm not too bad, but I think he's really patient and being nice!

We are busy rearranging our house in preparation for the new one. Currently we are to find out the sex of the baby on October 17th. I will be updating shortly with our pictures from the last visit to the doctor.

Thank you all for you love, prayers and support! We look forward to sharing our little one with all of you soon.

Also I would like to thank Jen for helping me with my blog. I had tried to change it and just wasn't able to make it work. Thanks Jen for making this beautiful site possible!!!

Let's Eat!

We all know that Kenny travels. In his travels he finds new and exciting places to eat, because let's face it food makes us happy! Well Kenny found this restaurant called Dave's Bar-B-Q. Kenny really wanted to go and we wanted to try it so my mom, sister, husband and myself piled in the car, picked up Jen and met Kenny at the airport. Then we followed them (because they have cool navigation system) to Dave's. It was really good!! They have like 6 different kinds of BBQ sauce and HUGE portions!

As you can see we had PLENTY to eat! We walked (I may have had a little waddle) out of there stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey, but happy and already planning our return trip!

Monday Night's!

For the last couple of months Danny and I have been on a slow pitch softball team. It's been fun playing together and last week Danny got a HUGE home run over center field on a team that plays really deep!! That just means that my husband rocks and he hit the ball really hard.

Last week my mom and my sister came to watch us play in our championship game. So we have some pictures to share. Thanks mom and AJ!

Tonight we had our team dinner, so no more softball until next season!

Family Visit!

This year has been the year of family visits! My sister called me on Friday while I was at work and asked if her and my mom could come down for a visit. I said of course, when? She said NOW! It turns out she got a week of vacation and her boss forgot to mention it. So they piled into the car threw a few things into a couple of bags and they were off!!!

On Saturday I had Ashely's party, I was doing the food, so my mom and sis got in the kitchen with me and we made cupcakes.

Devil's food chocolate with chocolate chips!

Caution:
Laides at work, (if you can call frosting work)!

Making them look good!

The End.

Not Quite Round But Still Just As Good!

Danny and I decided that we could save money and have some fun by making our own tortillas! Well...time wise I'm not so sure how much we saved because it takes a while (especially because we don't have a griddle to cook them on) but, I think the more we do it the better we'll be!

Brave taster and photojournalist!

Pre-cooked tortillas!

The first tortilla a.k.a. "Mondo"

Not quite round but still just as good!
(Danny's Title)

It was just a little messy!

So I had a picture of Danny's "mondo" burrito, but I accidentally erased it! Just imagine a HUGE burrito filled with cheese, mexican flavored ground turkey, salsa all tucked safely into a yummy, warm homemade tortilla! :)

No we aren't dead...

We are alive! Sorry we've been absent from the blogging world for a while...sorry! Now that we have internet I should be able to blog more often. It's just been crazy down here lately.

Here are some updates for the past few months:

1. I got a new job-- I work for ECEGC, Inc. What is that you ask? Well it's a construction company. I work part time as an administrative assistant. I do billing, Quickbooks and most of the computer related things that need to be done in the office. :)

2. Danny got to rebuild his engine! :) I say got to...well the truth is HAD to but he got to make a few upgrades that he wanted and it came out really good!
Although he broke a few tools trying to get a bolt off!

Then he needed more muscle, I guess I didn't have enough!

Finally it came off (with the help of a blow-torch)!

This is during...

I got to help paint and clean and kept Danny company while he worked away on the truck! I also got to make gaskets...so if any of you need a gasket for your engine give me a call because I am now a pro.

3. As most of you know we have internet at our house, finally! For the first time since we've been married (5 yrs.) and we also got a new computer to go along with it. Okay so it's not brand new; but it's new to us. We wanted to be like Kenny and Jen so we got a Mac too!!! Actually we had been looking at them for over a year and a new/used one came up for sale and we liked it. It's great to hold all our music, pictures and I can work on designing logos and such not!

I think that's it for this quick update...not much else to tell about. We got a new faucet in our bathroom (I know very exciting)! Life keeps moving and God keeps blessing us, more than we can say. :)
